About Us
White Oak Baptist Church is currently celebrating it's 85th church anniversary. Our Pastor is Reverend Cedric B. Holmes. The church was built on Maple Avenue in 1924 and recognized as such in 1926.
Eighteen years into White Oak's existence the church became a member of the Bethany Association of Churches.
In the early 70's White Oak Baptist began to take on a new form. No longer were baptisms performed in the lake or at a nearby church, we built additions and became self-sufficient.
Recently, White Oak Baptist purchased property on the corner of Holland and Linden Avenues, which is used for additional church parking. There are plans underway for the expansion of White Oak Baptist Church. We have completed remodeling our baptismal pool and will be baptizing soon. Our church continues to grow and be a beacon of light in a dark world.
